Philadelphia artist Robert Berry talks about the process of adapting Joyce's masterpiece into different art forms. Mr. Berry has just begun ULYSSES "SEEN," a webcomic adaptation of the novel. He'll discuss the history of attempts to translate the novel into new media such as movies and television, and describe why the form of the webcomic might be singularly capable of conveying the humor of Ulysses and capturing the nuances of time and symbol that make reading the novel such a delight.
